Samsung Unveils A Compact Level Box Mini Wireless Speaker

This Korean-giant is pushing all sorts of products out on the market, from microwaves, TVs and refrigerators to smartphones, tablets and smartwaches. When it comes to technology you can find basically any category of product carrying the Samsung logo if you look hard enough. Samsung even launched “Level” premium audio lineup a month ago containing Samsung Level Over, Level On, Level In and Level Box. The first two listed are headphones while the “Level In” are earpods and the latter is as the name suggests, a bluetooth speaker. A month later we get yet another member of the “Level” family.

You have all probably heard of Samsung’s mini smartphone products, like the Galaxy S3 Mini, Galaxy S4 Mini, and so on. Well, it seems like they want to use the “Mini” brand in other devices as well considering they just launched the Level Box Mini, a compact wireless speaker. This is basically a smaller version of the Level Box which launched a month ago. This speaker contains a large 55mm stereo speaker along and a passive radiator which is optimized to deliver premium-quality sound which is powerful, crisp and balanced, according to Samsung that is. This speaker (just like its bit brother) comes with a support for S Voice, text-to-speech, bluetooth (3.0) and NFC so you can use it with your mobile device. This device also sports Samsung’s SoundAlive technology which basically analyzes the sound and makes automatic adjustments to it in order to deliver the best sound possible.

The device is made out of metal and it has a 1,600mAh battery inside which should be able to provide 1,000 hours of standby time, 25 hours of music play time and 30 hours of talk time according to Samsung. The device weights 392g and will be available in Blue, Red, Blue Black and Silver colors once it gets available. There’s no word when it might go on sale at this point though, but it will probably be rather soon, we’ll keep you posted. Anyone interested in one of these by any chance if it turns out the price is just right?
