We’re edging closer and closer to IFA 2014 – and we can’t wait – which kicks off next week. And we’ve got a few press conferences on September 3rd. One of which being the Sony press conference. Which we are expecting a few new products from them including the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, and the Xperia Z3. Now the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has been getting rumored a lot more lately, with the latest leak coming out this afternoon. One of Xperia Blog’s readers’ happened to notice that on a support page on Sony’s website, it mentioned the “Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact”, which has now been replaced with “Xperia Z2 Tablet”. So it looks like some people were a little too eager to get the pages done for the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact and published it by mistake.
It was basically referring to the viewing angles on the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact and saying that it’s much improved compared to earlier Sony products that had terrible viewing angles. And I can say that with the Xperia Z2 Tablet, the viewing angles were much improved. So I’d expect the same for the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is supposedly a smaller tablet, around 7 or 8 inches. Which with Sony’s bezels, it’ll still be the size of a 10-inch tablet. However, it’ll be waterproof, so there’s that.
Sony has quite a few things to announce next week, and they basically just made the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact official. However we’ll see the specs and everything else next week during their press conference. How many of you are excited to check out the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact? How many of you are looking for a slightly smaller Xperia tablet? Well this might be the one for you. Let us know in the comments down below.
