Tomorrow, T-Mobile USA will be offering $50 off of the HTC One M8, which just got a Windows Phone brother. The HTC One M8 is a great smartphone that’s available on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint. It features a 5-inch 1920×1080 resolution display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 2600mAh battery. There’s also a 4MP UltraPixel camera along with a 5Mp camera on the front and Boomsound speakers around front.
TmoNews’ source notes that this $50 off promo will be in T-Mobile branded retail stores, and retail phone support. The note sent to employees reads:
“… no rebates are necessary. You’ll see the $50 discount automatically reflected when helping new or existing customers upgrade to or activate the HTC One (M8). Between the $50 savings and the unique features of the HTC One (M8), this offer is sure to create a great experience for our customers.”
Currently, T-Mobile’s website is already showing as “on sale” with $48 off, so this sounds like it’s an additional $50 off of that. Which makes it an even sweeter deal for this HTC One M8.
We reviewed the HTC One M8 earlier this year. And we were quite impressed with how well the device performed. However, we would have loved a better camera, but it was actually pretty good, even for a 4MP shooter. But with all the camera features that HTC threw in, you’d expect a better camera as well, to really take advantage of all those features. Nonetheless, it was one of our favorite devices of the year at the time and still is. It’s right up there with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the LG G3.
