As ridiculous as the application is, which is truly truly ridiculous, Motorola is doing something using the YO app that many people are sure to appreciate and might even want to participate in. That is, giving twenty lucky winners a chance to win the famous Android Wear smartwatch from Motorola, the Moto 360. How do you win this watch? For lack of a more complex explanation, you simply have to YO! and you could be one of the winners, but in reality it does take a little more than that. If you’re one of the eager individuals who is awaiting the Moto 360’s release which should prove to be very, very soon here, than we’d suggest taking a look into this contest for your chance to win the watch and be one of the first to own one, among those that buy them at launch too of course, but you won’t have to spend the money to get it.
All you have to do to win is send a YO to Motorola within the next 24 hours(there’s the extra bit, the timeframe), and from then you just have to wait to see if Motorola sends you a YO back. If they do, that means that you’ve been chosen as one of the winners to receive the Moto 360 and they’ll continue from there to get the device out to you. We imagine that they won’t be shipping anything to the winners until after the launch of course, so don’t expect to see anything show up at your door step for at least a couple weeks.
You’ll have until 12:59 pm PST to send off the YO, for the east coast residents that’s 3:59 pm as stated in the official contest rules page from Motorola. Unfortunately this is only open to U.S. residents, so an immediate sorry out there to any of our readers that are based outside of the U.S.. That also means our resident brit Tom Dawson is not allowed to participate. Motorola is expected to show off the Moto 360 smartwatch at their event on September 4th, which is not too long away now being that we’re rolling up to the end of August. Will you Yo for your chance to win?
