Apple’s iPhone products along with the Apple Watch have been all over the news lately. That is quite normal considering this California-based tech giant has launched their line of products just recently. Every time Apple announces an iPhone, a ton of clones appear in China, some rather well-made, others, not so much. We bring you two already available iPhone 6 clones coming out of China. First device is called Dapeng i6 and it sports a 4.7-inch 960 x 540 IPS LCD display along with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of in-built storage (expandable up to 16GB). MediaTek’s MT6582 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz is powering this device along with Mali-400 GPU. 5-megapixel camera is located at the back of the device while there’s a 1.3-megapixel shooter up front. The device measures 137 x 67 x 7.5mm and weighs 109 grams. The device comes with 2000mAh battery and Android 4.2 out of the box. Plastic is the built material used here. As you can see this is not exactly a high-end device, but a low-end one. I honestly wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy it, but if you’re interested you can get it here for $108.99 (free worldwide shipping).
The other clone might be more recognizable to most of you considering it’s manufactured by GooPhone. This company is well-known for its cloning capabilities, they clone basically everything they can get their hands on. Samsung and Apple products are their most selling cloned devices if I’m not mistaken and it didn’t take the company long to make an iPhone 6 clone (they did that a few months before Apple even announced their product). In any case, this device features a 4.7-inch (960 x 540) IPS LCD display, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The device is powered by MediaTek’s MT6582 quad-core processor just like the Dapeng i6 and Mali-400 GPU. 13-megapixel camera can be found at the back of this device while there’s a 5-megapixel camera up front. The device comes with Android 4.3 OS pre-installed. You can get this device straight from GooPhone for $199,99.
As you can tell, GooPhone’s offering sports somewhat higher specs than the Dapeng offering, though that’s still a low-mid range phone at best. I personally would never get something like this, but if you for some reason want something like this, go for it.
