The HTC One M8 is getting old – to the tuned of 6 months…which is like seven years in dog years…I mean two years in tech years. It is that time for designers to start thinking about new designs and concepts. One such designer, Fabrizio D’Onofrio, via Concept Phones, has come up with sleek new design for all of us to ponder…and maybe even drool over. Now before we get a lot of flak about this: we know it is not the actual HTC One M9 – it is simply Mr. D’Onofrio’s concept of what he thinks would make a great One M9.
Of course, HTC has not confirmed anything – they won’t even admit there is going to be an M9, but we all know there will be one sometime in 2015. Fabrizio D’Onofrio says the new HTC One M9 will measure in at 145mm high, 70mm wide and only be 7mm thick, weighing in at 140 grams. The new design will have unibody construction, made out of a combination of aluminum and titanium with a sapphire crystal display for durability that will prevent scratches and nicks. It will have a similar shape of the current M8…curved back, sexy and easy to hold.
The technical specs would look like this: 5.2 or 5.3-inch QHD HD LCD IPS display and powered by the new 64-bit Qualcomm 810 quad-core processor. This would be hooked up to 3GB of RAM with 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The main camera would be 12-ultrapixels along with a 5MP camera to form the Duo Camera combo, and of course, it would have OIS. The front-facing camera would be a 5.1MP affair, great for video chatting and excellent selfies. The sound would be upgraded to BoomSound+ for an even better sound experience. The power is supplied by a 3500mAh battery for a heavy day of use.
