Google Will begin Listing In-App Purchase Price Ranges on Google Play

As most of you probably know by now, most apps use in-app purchases to make a living. And while they can be annoying, they are a bit less annoying then having ads pop up all the time. Which is why most people prefer in-app purchases. But have you ever wondered how much the in-app purchases were before downloading an app or a game? Well Google aims to fix that very, very soon. As they sent out word today that they will be listing the in-app purchase price ranges on Google Play app and game pages. Which is sure to make plenty of people happy.

According to Google:

Price ranges for in-app purchases Beginning September 30, 2014, all apps offering in-app purchases to users will have an “In-app purchases” price range displayed on their detail page on Google Play. Price ranges will include in-app products and subscriptions.

If any of your apps offer paid in-app features or subscriptions, go to your app’s In-app Products page to review the prices and publishing status of your in-app items.”

Now we have no idea when this will start, but it may already be in the existing version of Google Play. If not, expect a new APK to start hitting devices really soon. And when it does, expect us to share the APK with you so that you can get your hands on the latest and greatest from Google. This will definitely help people out with games and such. As I know I’m not the only one that’s seen a lot of in-app purchases range from $0.99 all the way to $100 or more. And it’ll be nice to have that info up front.

So look for that soon, we’ll likely see more changes to the Play Store soon. As we did see that leak of the new Play Store last week with a new material design look. And man did it look good.
