According to fonearena, the Lenovo VIBE X2 has now been listed on the official Indian website. To give you a little insight on this device, the VIBE X2 is a stylish smartphone that is pleasing to the eye and uniquely crafted into three layers. The VIBE X2 comes equipt with MediaTeks 4G LTE True8Core technology and what Lenovo calls their “Innovative Layers.” What makes these layers so innovative is that you can add click-on accessories known as VIBE Extensions. Some of the accessories are the VIBE X2 battery and VIBE X2 Speaker. The battery accessory that is only 5.1mm thin, adds more protection and extends the battery life up to 75%. The VIBE X2 speaker gives the handset better audio and includes a built-in mic for conference calls.
Moving on to the specs of the device, the VIBE X2 has a 5 inch 1920 x 1080p display. As stated already, the handset has a MediaTek MT6595m octa-core processor that clocks in at just 2.0 GHz. Running along side the processor is 2GB of RAM and the the available storage is a whopping 32GB. Unfortunately you cannot expand the storage so your stuck with what Lenovo is handing out. As Lenovo puts it, the VIBE X2 comes with brilliant cameras. The device has a 13MP rear facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for the infamous selfie. The battery on the VIBE X2 is just a 2300mAh and the operating system of choice is Android 4.4 Kitkat. The specs for this device aren’t as breathtaking as Lenovo makes them out to be, but to truly understand what Lenovo is doing here, you have to look at the design. The VIBE X2 isn’t meant to be a flagship device, nor will it ever be. The purpose of this phone is for the innovative multi-layered style that allows for click-on accessories and simply for the handsets beautiful looks.
