Possible Galaxy Note 4 Price Gets Revealed Ahead Of Launch

Samsung’s pre-IFA press event is one of the most expected panels at this year’s IFA in Berlin. Samsung’s Galaxy Note devices are one of Samsung’s most selling products over the last few years and many people are waiting for Samsung to launch Note’s fourth iteration in order to buy it. We’ve seen many, many leaks when it comes to this device in the last couple of weeks even months. The price of this phablet has surfaced prior to its launch.

Media Markt, who is Europe’s largest electronics retailer and second worldwide, has apparently revealed Note 4’s price in its Russian branch. The device will have a similar price as Galaxy Note 3 had at launch, 34 490 rubles which is approximately $940, that is before carrier subsidies. Please do note however that prices in Europe are usually 20-30% higher than in US for example, so expect a price between 700 and $800 if you live in the US. If this pans out, Galaxy Note 4 will be significantly more expensive than Galaxy S5 was when it launched, about $100 more expensive.

According to leaked Antutu benchmarks, Samsung’s upcoming phablet is expected to sport a QHD (2560 x 1440) display (probably 5.7-inch) along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD card). The device will probably come in two versions, one will carry Samsung’s Exynos 5433 octa-core processor while the other one will sport Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 quad-core CPU. 16-megapixel ISOCELL camera is expected on the back of the device with a 3-megapixel camera being located at the front. Android 4.4.3 KitKat will come pre-installed according to Antutu, though it is possible Samsung will include Android 4.4.4 KitKat instead by the time the device is launched.

Samsung will unveil Galaxy Note 4 at its “Unpacked” pre-IFA event in Berlin on September 4th. Samsung’s Tizen-based smartwatch, Gear S, will also make an appearance along with other Samsung devices. The event is only a day away, so stay tuned if you’re interested, we’ll know more really soon and we’ll let you know as soon as that happens.
