Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is now Official! With Quad HD Display, Snapdragon 805 and More

We’ve been waiting for this moment all year, and Samsung has delivered. Samsung has just announced the Galaxy Note 4, and much like we thought, it’s an absolute beast. The Galaxy Note is one of their most popular lines of smartphones and tablets that they’ve had in a very long time, so it’s clear as to why it gets some of the best specs around. As far as the design goes, it’s still really similar to the Galaxy Note 3, and they kept the soft touch back panel and added the metal frame which is on the Galaxy Alpha. So it’s basically like a Galaxy Alpha and a Galaxy Note 3 combined together. It’ll be available in black, white, pink and gold.

As far as specs go, we’ve got a 5.7-inch Quad HD AMOLED display (that’s 2560×1440 resolution). There’s also the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor which is clocked at 2.7GHz, or the Exynos 5 Octa which is a quad-core 1.9GHz and a quad-core 1.3GHz processor (likely only in the 3G markets), 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a micro SD card slot, along with a 3220mAh battery and it has dimensions of 153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5mm, and weighs in at 176g. And runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

Samsung also tossed in a lot of features this time around. Samsung improved the new user interface, they involved the Galaxy S5 user experience into the Galaxy Note 4. Also the weather widget is now transparent, so that you can still enjoy your wallpaper. You can also customize the lock screen background. They’ve also changed up Multi-Window now, so you can access multi-window with the recents key. As Samsung said that some users had issues looking for Multi-Window to use it.

So that’s the Galaxy Note 4. We’ll have plenty more coverage coming up later on today, so make sure you stay tuned. How many of you are going to be picking one up when it becomes available in your country and on your carrier? Let us know in the comments below.
