Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 With Sprint Spark Hitting Shelves September 12th

Today is a good day for people on Sprint’s network who are in the market for a new tablet. This morning Sprint announced that on September 12th they will launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, one of Samsung’s newest tablet offerings. Sprint also announced that the tablet will be compatible with their Spark network which supposedly delivers speeds faster than regular LTE, coming in at 60Mbps.

If you aren’t familiar Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S 10.5 tablet, don’t worry, we’re here to help. The tablet features a beautiful 2560 x 1600p Super AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, 3GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera, and last but not least a 7900 mAh battery. But enough about specs, let’s talk about some useful features the Tab S possesses. For starters, you can perform real multi-tasking using something Samsung calls Multi Window. This allows users to have two applications open simultaneously. On top of that you can do something called Wi-FI Miracast which allows you to wirelessly mirror a smartphone or tablet display. But a feature that really makes the Tab S stand out from the tablet crowd is it’s fingerprint scanner built right into the home button, a quick swipe from the top to bottom of the home button will allow you to unlock your tablet.

If these features and specs appeal to you and you happen to be on Sprint’s network then here is how you would activate the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 on Sprint. Sprint has said that the tablet can either be activated on the Family Share Pack which is a shared-data plan for up to 10 lines. Or it can be activated on one of Sprint’s individual tablet data plans, one of which is a limited-time offer of 100MB of data for $10.

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 will be offered in Titanium Bronze and will be available for purchase in Sprint Stores, online, and Telesales.
