As a music player it supports MP3, MP4, MP2, MP1, OGG, WAV, AIFF, MIDI, AAC, 3GP, XM, IT, S3M, MOD, MTM, UMX, MO3, MP4, M4A, OTA formats and as an equalizer, it features a graphical slider along with some pretty simple to use presets to help your music sound the best it can on your smartphone or tablet. How it Works: You’ll first need to download Equalizer Music Player from the Play Store. You’ll also need to make sure that you have music downloaded on to your device, as you can’t use Google Play Music or Spotify with this. Once you have the app installed, you can and go ahead and take a look at the app.
You can choose music to play by sorting by Artist or Album or just choose a folder from your device’s storage. When you’re playing a track, you can equalize your music using the studio-like sliders.
You can adjust how the songs sound in terms of size and you can also choose from a number of different presets as well.
You can slide out the menu from the side to get access to more features, and if you want to pay for the more advanced version of the app you’ll get access to virtual surround sound and more.
With some advanced settings like shake to skip, Equalizer Music Player is a pretty decent music player.
Opinion: On the face of it, Equalizer Music Player is a fairly decent music player, but the user interface is a little clunky and these days, music player apps are all over the place. Still, this is one of the easier apps I’ve used to change how my music sounds without digging through a load of settings. Sadly though, I can’t use Google Play Music, which is how I get all of my music. Having said that, for those that don’t have access to Google Play Music or Spotify, this is a good app to make the most of those microSD cards and help your favorite songs really shine.

There’s something to be said for how easy this makes it to tune your settings to just how you like them, but overall this is a decent music player as well. With some attention to detail on the UI front, Equalizer Music Player would be a much better option.
