How it Works: All you need to do is download Bowling Paradise 2 from the Play Store to get started, and then start a new game.
You can then start to create what sort of game mode you want to play. You can either play against the computer as I’m going to, or you can pass your smartphone or tablet between up to four other friends and create a little championship among yourselves.
Playing the game is pretty simple, you just flick the ball in the direction you want, but you can also adjust the direction by dragging on the display when it’s further down the lane. The realistic physics that are at work here will make sure that the pins fall as you’d expect them to and the ball spins as if it were on a real bowling lane, too.
One thing I noticed about the graphics here is that when on the beach level, pins and balls run off into the ocean and make a pleasant splashing sound.
Both the Beach and Sky Island levels have dynamic skies that look realistic, and will change depending on the time of day. So, after 6PM, you’ll see a lovely display of a sunset sky and during the day you’ll see a light sky.
As you can see, I’ve been using lots of different pins and balls here and there are lot to choose from, you can choose more than one type and they’ll appear one after another as you go from turn-to-turn.
You can also choose from a massive variety of different colored balls as well.
Opinion: If you like bowling, then you’ll find a lot to love about Bowling Paradise 2, and while it’s probably not going to be too much fun for hardened bowlers, it’s a good deal of fun. It’s especially nice to be able to play with other friends and family on the same device without any messing around. Not to mention, there’s so many different combinations of ball colors and pin colors that it’s really eye-catching. The 3D graphics are okay and while they could be better, it runs really nicely and it’ll run on pretty much any device, which is more than we can say for a lot of other games out there.

- Features (4/5) – As bowling games go, there’s more than enough on offer here to keep players occupied, but it might not be the simulator some have been looking for.
- Theme (4.5/5) – I wish that the sounds were a little more crunchy and convincing, but it’s a really vibrant game and there’s lots of different pins and ball colors you can choose from to help it come alive. That, coupled with the dynamic sky as well as the realistic physics help sell the game.
- Overall (4/5) – It runs on pretty much every device out there, has a lot to offer and is easily played by those of all ages. All of that and more makes Bowling Paradise 2 a game that everyone can enjoy.

Conclusion: Bowling Paradise 2 is a great game that runs on all sorts of hardware and is easily one of the most approachable bowling games out there. It’s easy for everyone to just pick up and play, and all the different options to change the color of the ball and the pins all help to bring the game alive. It’s great on tablets and being able to pass the device around with three of your friends is a nice touch as well. The physics here are good, with pins acting like they’re of a certain weight, which all helps give the game an overall sense of realism. Overall, the game doesn’t ask too much from people and isn’t too serious, making it a fun mobile game for all the family.
