ZTE Unveiled ZTE Blade Vec 3G, Blade Vec 4g And Kis3 Max Devices At IFA

A lot of manufacturers showed off their offerings at this year’s IFA, from Phillips and Huawei to probably the most anticipated ones Sony, Motorola and Samsung. We’ve seen a lot of great devices announced and I’m sure everyone will find something to suit their needs. ZTE is yet another Chinese manufacturer who had something to say at this year’s IFA in Berlin. Unlike some Chinese manufacturers, ZTE has had a presence outside China for a long time now. I actually run into ZTE products rather often here in Europe.

That being said, ZTE has announced three new smartphones at IFA, ZTE Blade Vec 3G, ZTE Blade Vec 4G (image above) and ZTE Kis 3 Max (image below). ZTE Blade Vec 3G and 4G share a part of their specs, both sport a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, 1GB of RAM and a 2300mAh battery. Android 4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed on both of those devices and they have a usual array of sensors as well while their back panel is coated in carbon fiber. They do differ elsewhere though, Blade Vec 3G sports MediaTek MTK6582 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and 8GB of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD card up to 32GB). 8-megapixel camera is located at the back of the device while there’s a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter included as well. Blade Vec 4G on the other hand features a Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz along with 8 or 13-megapixel (region dependant) rear-facing camera and 1 or 2-megapixel (again, region dependant) front facing shooter. This device comes with 16GB of internal storage and 4G connectivity as its name says. The devices differ in dimensions as well, Blade Vec 3G is sized at 139.3 x 69.8 x 7.8mm, on the other hand Vec 4G measures 143 x 70.4 x 7.8mm.

ZTE Kis 3 Max is a low-end device and comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) display, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The device is powered by MediaTek MT6572 dual-core chip clocked at 1.3GHz. 5-megapixel camera is the device’s main shooter while there’s a 2-megapixel snapper on the front of the device. 1850mAh battery is included in the package and the device measures 132 x 66 x 9.1mm while it weighs 135 grams. Bluetooth 3.0 is present here unlike the 4.0 which is included in the aforementioned devices.

ZTE Blade Vec 3G will cost EUR 180 (approximately Rs 14,100) and will be offered in Germany first and might start selling elsewhere at a later date. Blade Vec 4G is already available in France, Turkey Belgium, Romania, Slovakia, Norway and Sweden and is priced at EUR 230 (approximately Rs 18,000). Kis 3 Max will launch in Germany, UK, Greece and Bulgaria and will cost EUR 100 (Rs 7,800). Blade Vec 3G and Kis 3 Max’s launch dates have not been detailed at this point.
