Amoi M1 Is A Mid-Range Handset Which Will Feature A 5200mAh Battery

Amoi is yet another Chinese manufacturer most people haven’t heard about despite the fact company has been around since 1997. Anyhow, this company is planning to release a new mid-range device which will have a huge battery inside. The device has already been certified according to the source and it’s just a matter of time Amoi will release it for sale. The device will have a 5200mAh battery inside which should provide the phone with an incredible battery life to say the least, let’s check out the rest of its specifications.

The device will sport a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS display along with 1GB of RAM for your multitasking needs and 8GB of in-built storage. The device will be powered by MediaTek’s MT6582 quad-core processor along with Mali-400 MP2 GPU for graphics processing. 13-megapixel camera will be located at the back of this device and you’ll be able to find a 2-megapixel camera on the front of the device. Android 4.4 KitKat will ship with this handset though it will be customized by Amoi. This is a 3G device and won’t support 4G LTE bands. It is quite obvious the battery life will be the main selling point for this device, 5200mAh unit which will be located on the inside should provide enough battery life even for the most hardcore users. Amoi M1 should be able to achieve 230 hours of standby, which is great no matter which way you look at it.

The expected price for this device is 999 Yuan ($163), which is where Amoi is making a mistake in my humble opinion. China is a huge market and there’s lots of competition there, you can get a lot more powerful device for this price, double the price you get a top of the line flagship from IUNI for example. We’re still not sure Amoi will end up pricing the device at 999 Yuan, but the available information sure points to that price. Amoi will, hopefully, manage to offer the device for less money, I really doubt they’ll move a lot of units this way. We’ve already seen devices like this, do you have issues with the battery life on your device or are you satisfied with it?
