It’s that time again! With every new Android version that gets released, Google puts a new statue up on their Mountain View campus. This year we are getting a big green bugdroid holding up a Lollipop because that’s Android L. The official name is Lollipop, and the statue has been erected to commemorate the momentous occasion. The big bugdroid is even throwing up a peace sign like he does in several of the new Android-ified videos that Google released today. Google also dropped a new Android Lollipop unveiling video on us. It features everything that you can possibly think of that starts with an ‘L’ being thrown out the window in the search for the perfect ‘L’ name. Finally, a small Android child shows us the way to Lollipop.
