Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G LTE Now Available from Newegg for $299

While the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 is the one making all the headlines lately, and rightfully so, it’s time for little brother to get a few headlines. The Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G LTE made it to the US over the summer and we were able to take a look at it for a bit. It’s really a great smartphone, especially when you consider it’s price of $299 unlocked. It is GSM only, which means AT&T or T-Mobile only. But it does work with both networks. I used it on T-Mobile while reviewing the device, and LTE worked great. The Ascend Mate2 4G LTE has a 6.1-inch 720p display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a 4000mAH battery. And yes, it lasts forever, and then it still has like 50% left. It actually has better battery life then the Ascend Mate7 which we recently reviewed.

PLANO, Texas [October 13, 2014]: Consumers can now purchase the Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G LTE on Newegg, the leading electronics-focused e-retailer in North America.
