Huawei held a conference in China and as part of it the company has announced some products. Huawei has announced Huawei Glory Play 4 smartphone for China Mobile and China Unicom networks. You might recall the company has already announced that device last month. This is basically the same device that launched with China Telecom already. Huawei Glory Play 4 comes with a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display along with 1GB of RAM for all your multitasking needs and 8GB of internal storage. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz which comes with an Adreno 306 GPU. 8-megapixel main camera is located at the back of this device while there’s a 2-megapixel shooter on the front of the device. This is a dual SIM device and it also comes with 4G LTE capability. The usual array of sensors is also present of course. As you can already tell, this is a mid-range device. Huawei Glory Play 4 will go on sale on October 16th and as I already mentioned, Chinese consumers will be able to pick it up from China Mobile or China Unicom.
Liu Jiangfeng, the chief manager of Huawei Honor’s Business Department, also announced Huawei Play bracelet / smartband. This is a smartband of sorts and it features a colorful design and an LED display. Huawei didn’t exactly share many details when it comes to this smartband, but it did say it will be priced at 399 Yuan. The company also talked about some sort of a subscription service, they will release more details on that by the end of October, Huawei said. Availability outside of China as far as this bracelet goes wasn’t announced, hopefully Huwaei will release more details on that soon, for those of you who are interested, even though we still don’t have the majority of details. Same thing can be said about Huawei Glory Play 4 smartphone, no additional details except for the Chinese launch, though I doubt the company intends to sell this device outside of Asia.
