"It's A Great Day For Hockey!" as NHL Android Apps Get Updated

Hockey season is fast approaching and Hockey sites and App Developers have just put the finishing touches on their hockey offerings, and the NHL is no exception as they update their official premium video service, the NHL GameCenter Live, Rogers NHL GameCentre Live and their official NHL App.  Because, as the infamous hockey coach, “Badger Bob” Johnson always said, “It’s a great day for hockey!”  I know here, in Pittsburgh, where I am from, the Penguins and Steelers will be the center of what people talk about, and once football ends, fans will concentrate on nothing but hockey.

If you eat, sleep and breathe hockey, then you will want to follow hockey on your smartphone or tablet – the official NHL App is the only way to go.  Most teams have their own App to follow them specifically, but if you want the whole ‘hockey picture,’ then the official NHL App will cover the sport in more depth than anybody else…because they have access to stories and programming that only they can offer.  You can watch in-game video highlights and listen to live game audio from EVERY game, not just a few select games.  For an in-app purchase, you can even watch live out-of-market games and select your favorite teams to personalize your experience.

The free NHL App gives you a lot of information…Live scores and stats – In-game and post-game video highlights – Live game audio from every game – Game preview and recap videos – Personalized newsfeed with news, video and social updates from your favorite teams – Full season schedules and standings – Customizable alerts – and much more.  If you sign up for the NHL GameCenter LIVE or Rogers NHL GameCentre LIVE subscription, you can stream out-of-market games live and on-demand – blackouts and other restrictions apply.  Choose which game you want to watch and then follow the game with this seasons new camera angles…available only to subscribers…watch replays and see the action from cameras on the referee’s helmet.

Please hook up with us on our Google+ Page and let us know if you are a true hockey fan, which teams you follow, and if you subscribe to one of the NHL GameCenter LIVE services…as always, we would love to hear from you.
