IUNI is definitely not one of the best known brands around, not even in China. Very few people outside of Asia heard of this Chinese manufacturer though it seems that’s about to change. IUNI introduced company’s new U3 flagship back in August and left a ton of people speechless. This device is a true beast and the price IUNI is asking for it is a chunk change considering what this device has to offer. IUNI kicked off pre-orders for this thing on October 9th and now the company has announced that IUNI U3 in black and white will be for sale on October 29th. So, basically, the Chinese customers will be able to get one directly from IUNI without pre-orders or anything of the sort, though I have a feeling IUNI will sell all available units very quickly, I could be wrong though.
Anyhow, IUNI U3 features a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display by Sharp along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz is powering this thing and it comes with an Adreno 330 GPU for graphics processing. 13-megapixel camera (Sony’s sensor) can be found o the back of the device while there’s a 5-megapixel snapper located up front. 3000mAh is also part of this package and the device comes with Android 4.4.4 OS out of the box with IUNI OS on top of it. This is an LTE capable device and it sports a rather sleek design with really thin bezels on the sides. This is also a dual-SIM device, in case you need that functionality. On top of all of this, this device is built out of magnesium alloy and plastic which should make it quite sleek and yet durable.
People in China can get all this for just 2000 Yuan ($326), which is of course a steal for such a device. It is still not available internationally, but hopefully it will be sometime in the future, I know a few people who would gladly get their hands on one of these bad boys. If you live in China and you’re interested in purchasing this device, swing by IUNI’s official website on October 29th and get your copy.
