Back in August, Lenovo’s roadmap leaked showing us a bunch of devices by this Chinese company. One of the devices mentioned was Lenovo Sisley, also known as the Lenovo S90. About a week ago, we’ve seen an additional leak which showed us some details about this device and now we have all the info we need when it comes to this device, including its price. Let’s see what Lenovo has to offer.
Lenovo S90 aka Lenovo Sisley features a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) Super AMOLED display, which is quite rare outside of Samsung’s spectrum of devices. This device also sports 1GB of RAM for your multitasking needs and 16GB of internal storage. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 processor, a 64-bit chip clocked at 1.2GHz which comes with an Adreno 306 GPU for graphics rendering. 13-megapixel camera (F2.0 aperture) is located at the back of this device and is flanked by an LED flash, on the front of the device you’ll find a 5-megapixel shooter (1/3.2-inch sensor). The device is only 6.9mm thick and it weighs 129 grams. Android 4.4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed on this device with Lenovo’s very own VibeUI (version 2.0) on top of it. People actually compare the design of this device to the iPhone 6’s design, I guess it does resemble it a bit, but we can say that about so many devices. Build materials weren’t mentioned here, but I think this device is made out of metal, at least partially, considering previous rumors were pointing towards it.
Lenovo will price this device at 1999 Yuan ($327) in China, which I think is a bit too steep for this device if I’m being honest. This is a dual-SIM and 4G LTE device, it supports China Unicom and China Mobile’s 4G network bands. We’re spoiled by affordable Chinese flagships at this point, but due to the fact this device sports only 1GB of RAM, I do believe that there are more affordable handsets on the market, although overall, this is a really good device. Perhaps I’m wrong and am being a bit too harsh on Lenovo, you might disagree of course, I guess I’m just expecting a huge manufacturer like Lenovo to price devices like this lower than they currently are.
