Samsung has announced the newest addition to the extremely popular Note line at this year’s IFA in Berlin last month, Galaxy Note 4. The device has seen many improvements whether we’re talking about its hardware or software. Metal materials have been added to the mix as well in order for the device to feel and seem more premium along with some software features, though these are mainly updates to the already existing Samsung features which are a standard on Note devices these days. Samsung really had a lot to share at this year’s IFA and it seems like they’ve listened to complaints, at least some of them.
Note 4 isn’t even available just yet (except in certain parts of Asia and from an Australian retailer Yatango) and a known Android developer Chainfire has already released a guide how to root this phablet. The method currently work on the following variants of this device: SM-N910C and SM-N910U with Exynos 5433 and the SM-N9106W which launched in China and is sporting Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 chip. We’re talking about a well-known root method CF Auto Root, which you’ve probably came across if you’re prone to rooting your devices. Note 4 sports a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) Super AMOLED display along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD card up to 128GB). Samsung’s newest phablet comes in two processor versions (market dependent), either with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 quad-core chip clocked at 2.7GHz or Samsung’s very own Exynos 5433 octa-core processor (quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A57). 16-megapixel OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) camera can be found on the back of this device, while there’s a 3.7-megapixel shooter located on the front of this phablet. 3220mAh battery is also included and the device comes with Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS with Samsung’s Revolving UX on top of it.
