Sprint Ups The Data For $20 Family Share Pack To 1GB

Sprint is still making adjustments to its rates and plans – thankfully, they are normally raising the data amounts, always trying to outdo Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile.  Since the shakeup of switching CEOs we expected to see some really spectacular changes, but then it is Sprint and they only have so much to work with.  It will be so nice when their network is totally updated and has great coverage – we need the competition to keep Verizon and AT&T in check…although AT&T did make quite a few changes forced by T-Mobile, but Verizon is stubborn and refuses to worry about the customer more than business as usual.  Back in August, ‘Big Yellow’ introduced its Family Share Pack – thank the heavens they finally got rid of those damn Framily commercials – and added their $60 Unlimited Plan.

Their latest move was to increase the data usage for light users as well – you can now get a 1GB of data on a Family share plan for only $20 a month…they almost doubled the 600MB you were previously getting.  True, while that would not be enough for up to ten people allowed on the plan, it is perfect for two or three low data users, such as myself…I am always near a Wi-Fi signal, so I use very little data each month. The Sprint Family Share Pack is a fairly ‘easy’ concept and you can customize your own plans in three easy steps.  For starters, you must choose the shared data allowance – for 1GB it will run you $20 for up to ten lines.

Next, for each phone you have to add a $25 per line monthly fee for non-discounted phones or a $40 per line per month charge for discounted devices.  Third, any tablets are $10 per month per line and mobile broadband devices are $20 per month per line.  There is no Early Termination Fees (ETF) and no annual service contracts with non-discounted phones…see how ‘easy’ that is? Please hit us up on our Google+ Page and let us know if you use Sprint, have recently changed to Sprint or have recently left Sprint and where did you go…as always, we would love to hear from you.
