Taco Bell's Mobile App Helps You Skip The Wait And Order Ahead Of Time

It seems we have entered an age where Fast Food just isn’t fast enough. With some of our ultra busy lives things can be a little hectic and that doesn’t leave any time to be messing around with lines. Thanks to Taco Bell’s mobile app, you can skip those lines and go straight to thinking outside the bun by ordering ahead of time before you rush out to pick up your food. While we definitely recommend to exercise some restraint here, sometimes a fast food meal is just a craving you can’t pass up. Got a craving for a crunch wrap supreme and some of those cheesy potatoes? Open the app, order it up, and go grab it without having to wait in line to order.

The niche here is allowing the user to get their food on the radar of the local Taco Bell employee, so that they can cut to the front of the line when they arrive at the location. You will have to go inside if you want to take advantage of grabbing your food ahead of everyone else, but drive-thru status is not locked out here. Plus, there’s always the chance that there won’t be anyone in line ordering in front of you and if that’s the case, why get out of the car? The app supports payment through Taco Bell cards or Credit/Debit cards, although how cool would it be if you could order using PayPal or Google Wallet from the app just like with Eat24? It just feels like a missed opportunity, Taco Bell, you dropped the ball on this one.

There is also one other drawback to the app, which is that when you place orders you can’t just run in and grab the already prepared food. It will still have to be made, but that’s a small price to pay for skipping to the front of the line we suppose. The app is pretty straight forward, and allows you to place the order for what you want, and at the end you simply select the preferred method of pick up, whether in-store or drive-thru, and finish off with payment for your order. Anyone excited about this app?
