Take a Look at All 3 Variants Of the Meizu MX4 Side-By-Side

Meizu held a press conference in Beijing yesterday on which they announced 2 new version of Meizu MX4, company’s current flagship device. Meizu also announced partnership with Alibaba. Flyme OS (Meizu’s very own offering) will include some of Alibaba’s YunOS in the future, we’ll see some of YunOS’ security and cloud features implemented along with some other goodies which Meizu will announce in due time. This could greatly benefit Flyme OS, though even on its own Flyme is a great offering. As I said, Meizu also announced 2 new version of Meizu MX4, let’s see what’s that all about.

The MX4 Silverwing and Gold are the latest offerings by this Chinese manufacturer. Both of these devices share the original MX4 specifications, though there are some differences. Gold version is basically just a gold colored Meizu MX4 while the Silverwing version comes with a solid aluminum frame build and a glossy back cover which we haven’t seen with the original Meizu MX4. There are a bunch of images in the gallery down below which show 3 Meizu MX4 versions side-by-side in case you want to check them out.

The original Meizu MX4 is available for purchase worldwide directly from Meizu while the Gold and Silverwing versions are currently available for pre-order in China from Tmall and Taobao for 1799 Yuan. You can’t get either of these variants outside of China at this moment, though Meizu did say they’ll announce international availability of these variants soon. The price will be somewhat higher for sure, these devices will quite probably be priced the same as the original MX4 was internationally, around $450.

Meizu quite obviously resolved all production issues and they have no problem meeting the demand now, not only did the company announce 2 new version of MX4 but they will announce MX4 Pro in November. Meizu has confirmed this information and if rumors are accurate we’ll see yet another beastly device from Meizu next month. MX4 Pro is rumored to sport a 5.4-inch 2k display, 3GB of RAM and 20.7-megapixel camera while Samsung’s Exynos 5430 processor will quite probably power this beast on. This Chinese manufacturer is doing a great job and if they manage to keep this up the company will grow significantly in the coming year(s).
