Top Android Homescreen October 23rd Edition: One

It’s Friday, and that means another homescreen setup for you guys and girls out there that like to customize the look of your homescreens. This one keeps things simple, yet slick looking and somewhat Material Design inspired, at least that’s how it feels to me personally. As with all our homescreen picks we’ll list all the stuff you need to re-create this homescreen design for yourself, as well as mention where you can go to get the files for download so you can get started. This week’s pick is simply called One. No more, no less. Most of what you need can be found in the Play Store, short of the files you’ll have to grab for the widgets to set this homescreen up. Those can be picked up from the homescreen design’s creator Corrado27, which has them linked on the source page for this homscreen design. We have linked to the source page below.

To get started, you’ll need to download a third party homescreen launcher like Apex Pro or Nova Prime, and you’ll also need to download and install Zooper Widget Pro. As stated above you can grab both of these from the Play Store, and each one will cost you a couple of bucks since they’re the pro versions. Once you have those downloaded and installed, apply your third party launcher as your default launcher, then make sure to go into the launcher settings and set your homescreen grid to 10 x 7. You’ll also need to hide the status bar up top, as well as the dock down at the bottom, and make sure the margins are set to none. From there, all you need to do is press down and hold on your homescreen to apply a widget, and then select the appropriate Zooper widget size, and pick the widget file you downloaded from Corrado27 at mycolorscreen.com. That’s it. simple and fast with this one, and now your homescreen looks a little bit cleaner, and a little bit sleeker. Make sure to hit the love button and “zoom” the image on the page for this homescreen design(the source link below)to show some appreciation for Corrado27’s work. Have a great weekend and happy themeing!
