Samsung Reportedly Launching Another Lineup of Smartphones

In addition to the Galaxy S, Galaxy A and Galaxy Note lineups, it looks like Samsung is getting ready to announce another series in the near future. At least according to a report coming out of Sammobile this morning. Many of you are probably wondering why we need another series of smartphones from Samsung. Supposedly, Samsung is coming up with a new series that uses just a letter. So like the Galaxy A or Galaxy S. Some of you may remember the crazy long names of some Samsung devices like the Galaxy S2 Epic 4G Touch that was on Sprint. The goal with this lineup, is to ditch that naming scheme. Which I’m sure I’m not the only one that would love that idea.

So alongside the new Galaxy S6, which is codenamed Project Zero. Samsung is also working on the Galaxy A series and this new series of smartphones. Looks like there’s a lot of new stuff coming out of Samsung in the very near future. And it’s going to be exciting to see what Samsung does. While I’m not a huge Samsung fan, I’m still excited to see what Samsung brings us in 2015. Especially with the Galaxy S6 being redesigned from scratch. Hopefully Touchwiz sees a huge overhaul. That would be really great to see. Especially after seeing the leaked screenshots of Lollipop running on the Galaxy S5 – you couldn’t even tell it was Lollipop.

Looks like next year, Samsung has a lot of surprises for us. I’m sure their drop in profits is why we are seeing all these new smartphones though. But I’m definitely happy we won’t see a Galaxy Ace 3 LTE. While it’s not a super long name like Sprint’s Galaxy S2 variant, it’s still nicer to have a bit shorter name. How many of you are excited to see what Samsung has in store for 2015? Let us know in the comments below.
