UrbanEars doesn’t usually put out new headphones often. Instead what they do is update the colors as well as the designs on their current headphone. Which we actually reviewed earlier this year. For the fall of 2014, they are introducing their Safari Grunge Collection. There are three different models here. And each of them look rather, unique.
The Plattan Acid Zebra Edition
Regal navy takes the backdrop on this classic motif, with drops of orange peppered throughout, adding a 21st century twist. Toss in a built-in microphone and remote, a fully collapsible structure and the ZoundPlug for instant music sharing, and you’ve got one groovy pair of headphones.
The Plattan Space Giraffe Edition
Taking an artsy spin on a classic form, the Space Giraffe print mixes ombre blues and purples with splashes of neon orange for a kaleidoscopic effect. What’s more, this ultra-wearable motif covers a headphone that’s perfect in its classic design, featuring a fully collapsible structure, a built-in mic and remote and the ZoundPlug for instant music sharing. Far out.
The Plattan Surplus Leo Edition
Surplus Leo adds a dash of inner city earthiness to the mix, resulting in a spin on a familiar style that’s perfect for everyday wear. In addition, this special edition comes with all the features you’ve come to expect from the Urbanears Plattan, like a fully collapsible structure, a built-in mic and remote and the ZoundPlug for instant music sharing. Rawr.
All three of these are available now for just $60. They are really great headphones, to say the least. So you definitely wouldn’t mind spending $60 on a pair of these. If you don’t like these designs, UrbanEars has a ton of others available. Probably close to 100 different ones. How many of you are interested in these Safari Grunge headphones from UrbanEars?
