Meizu K52 has appeared on GFXBench benchmarks recently and everyone thought that the device will be called Meizu MX4 Mini, but Meizu said that the MX family of devices won’t be getting any bigger anytime soon. Our sources also said that the company will launch a new family of devices around Christmas and the company has announced an event for December 11th. So, let’s put all this into perspective. Meizu launched the MX4 back in September, that was company’s flagship handset. After that launch, rumors started going around that the company will launch 3 more devices by the end of this year, and by the looks of it, that’s exactly what’s going to happen. Meizu MX4 Pro was the next device in line, company’s newest flagship handset which was launched last month, only two and a half months after the launch of the original MX4.
Moving on, the 3rd device in line will see the light of day in just 2 days when the company will announce it and the 4th device will follow around Christmas time. Meizu K52 will most probably be company’s extremely affordable handset which they’ll launch in two days. Meizu’s VP, Li Nan, actually said this is a device for “young people” and according to the listing, this handset will sport a 4.6-inch 1080p display along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. MediaTek’s 64-bit MT6752 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz will power on this thing and the device will reportedly cost only 799 Yuan ($130), which is just crazy. There is, however, one more device which hasn’t been in the center of attention as of late, but has leaked before, Meizu Blue Charm Note.
Both Meizu K52 and Blue Charm Note leaked today, you can check the two images down below. The orange handset in the image is allegedly Meizu Blue Charm Note while the smaller, white, handset next to it is Meizu K52. Meizu Blue Charm Note will reportedly be a competitor to Xiaomi’s Redmi Note handset and according to rumors, it will sport the same specifications as the Meizu K52, except for the screen size. Blue Charm Note’s screen size will be 5.5-inches in size, at least according to rumors. Our Meizu sources did say that the device which will be launched around Christmas will start a new series of devices for the company and Meizu Blue Charm Note fits that perfectly, if Meizu doesn’t decide to launch a tablet or something of the sort in the end.
Anyhow, I know it’s kind of confusing to keep up with all the rumors, but Meizu will make things a lot clearer in just two days, so stay tuned.
