Meizu has launched company’s newest flagship, the Meizu MX4 Pro, last month. The device went on sale a couple of days ago and sold out instantly, it took Meizu under a minute to run out of stock, which either means the demand was overwhelming or this Chinese OEM didn’t exactly prepare accordingly for the launch. I’d bet the first scenario took place considering in just 2 weeks Meizu received over 6.7 million pre-orders for this handset. Either way, the MX4 Pro is currently available although it might be out of stock in most places, you might still be able to find a store in China which has a few left, one of the resellers of course.
Anyhow, an interesting video popped up on Youku (Chinese video sharing network) recently, showing a car running over the Meizu MX4 Pro. You can check out the video yourself if you’d like, it’s embedded down below this article. Regarding the content of said video, someone decided to test out the durability of the device it seems and in order to do so, they placed the phone on the concrete and ran over it with a car tire (front left). The result of this test is actually rather surprising, so surprising in fact, I’m kind of amazed. There’s of course a chance that this whole thing was stage, but that might not be the case. The phone actually performed normally after this happened, it would be best if you check out the content of the video itself and share your thoughts with us.
