Exclusive devices aren’t anything new, and to Motorola customers in India you’ve known for some time now that the place to get your favorite phones is Flipkart. The online shopping giant in India has scored yet another exclusive from Motorola, this time a larger storage variant of Motorola’s 2014 flagship, the second generation Moto X. The second generation Moto X has been made available on Flipkart since its launch a couple of months ago, but it was only available with 16GB of internal storage. This is problematic for many because there’s no microSD card slot on the second generation Moto X, meaning 16GB is the maximum amount of storage you’ll ever have on the phone.
32GB has proven itself to be enough for most people’s needs, giving you plenty of storage for things like photos, videos and music, especially if you use any cloud services to keep your data backed up or stored elsewhere. Right now there’s no price on the 32GB version of the second gen Moto X but the 16GB variant is RS 31,999, so expect it to be around 3,000 RS more given that’s the standard pricing structure between most phone sizes nowadays. At the very least, we won’t have to wait very long to find out as it’ll be made available on Flipkart in just 3 days on December 22nd. We expect it to be available in both black and white colors just like the 16GB version is right now and has been since its September launch.
Motorola’s Moto X is arguably one of the finest phones of the year, with top of the line hardware in almost every respect, a great price and some seriously amazing custom software made by Motorola. Couple this with the fact that Motorola has been faster than even Google in getting Android updates out to its newest phones and you’ve got one heck of a winner on your hands. Not having a microSD card slot for storage may be a deal breaker for some out there, but at least 32GB will last for a good long while so long as you don’t have too much media to store onboard.
