Samsung Introduced A Velvet Red Galaxy Note 4 In South Korea As Part Of Its "Red Collection"

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 phablet is according to many people one of the best Android handset on the market today. This Korean tech giant unveiled this device back in September during IFA in Berlin. Galaxy Note 4 brought along new features and the usual spec bump to the table, but Samsung also used metal while building this phone, which makes it the first Galaxy Note handset which is not made only out of plastic (as far as its casing goes). Samsung’s beastly phablet has been available in the market for quite some time now, all over the world, and it seems like the company will soon introduce an upgraded, Snapdragon 810-powered, version of the device in South Korea. That won’t happen for a couple more months at the very least, but Samsung decided to offer something else to its South Korean consumers in the meantime.

Christmas is getting closer by the day and many companies have already started publishing their own Christmas ads and content, while Samsung decided to introduce a Velvet Red colored version of the device in the spirit of the upcoming holidays. The device looks rather nice and I imagine this color fits nicely with the metallic trim around the device. The Note 4 is the device in the middle of the imagine you can see above this article, while the Galaxy S5 is located on the left and the Galaxy W on the right. All of these handsets sport red color and Samsung calls is the “Red Collection”. As far as hardware goes, Samsung didn’t change anything, this is the very same device that was introduced back in September.

Talking about specs, Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7-inch QuadHD (2560 x 1440) Super AMOLED display along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via MicroSD card up to 128GB. South Korean version of Samsung’s phablet is powered by company’s very own Exynos 5433 octa-core processor (quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A57) and Mali-T760 GPU. On the back of this device, you’ll find a 16-megapixel OIS camera while there’s a 3.7-megapixel shooter located on the front of the device. 3220mAh battery is also a part of the package along with Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS with Samsung’s Revolving UX on top of it. The device measures 153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5mm and it weighs 176 grams.
