Take A Peak At The Printed Circuit Board Inside Google's Project Ara

Without wanting to use a cliche, Project Ara announcements are like buses. You wait and wait and then they all come at the same time. It was only today that it was reported Google had teamed up with Globant to bring the Ara marketplace together. Now, it seems we have a bit more news on Ara. The latest news is nothing that you need to know, but it might be something you might like to know. It seems Google are very excited about the progress of Ara and as such took the opportunity to show off one of the printed circuit boards (shown above) from inside of Project Ara.

The circuit board is fresh from the Spiral 2 prototype of Ara and goes some way to show the inside of the device. This is quite a treat as largely we have not got to see too much of the inside of the device recently. Over the last few weeks, we have seen a number of images and videos showing off Ara booting up and running. But that is only half of the story and inside, (where the real juice is) has remained elusive. As such, it is rather nice to see the PCB and its design.

The showing off of the circuit board was only part of the announcement made today. Google took the opportunity to respond to a question about the upcoming developer conferences in January. As the time is getting closer, Google noted that a number of developers had been in touch to let them know that they could not attend for whatever reasons, but were still hoping to take part in the event. As such Google have announced that they will be streaming the events live online. These will be streamed from both the Mountain View and Singapore sites, will be streamed globally and will be free. So it looks like we will all get to see what the events will hold. If you want to read the announcement in full or sign up for the event then click here. So who is excited about Ara? leave a comment and let us know.
