Motorola’s Turbo Charger Doesn’t Ship with The Nexus 6 in Australia, Yet

It’s hard to miss out on the fact that the Nexus 6 is a massive phone, and that 3,200 mAh battery is pretty large as well. That means that the Nexus 6 requires some serious charging, which is why in the States and elsewhere Motorola ship it with their Turbo Charger. In Australia though, the International wall adapter doesn’t meet electrical standards, as such there’s no Turbo Charger in the box. However, Motorola have been giving users codes that they can redeem once the Turbo Charger is available early next year. In the meantime, I’d go ahead and find a decent 2.0A charger to keep that guy ticking along.

LTE Version of the G Pad 8.0 Launches in South Korea

It’s been quite some time since LG released the original G Pad 8.3, and what followed it earlier this year was the G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1. Both fairly mid-range devices with okay specifications, but all available in lots of different colors and with low price tags. Now, the company has launched an LTE version of the 8-inch G Pad in South Korea. The Snapdragon 400 powered devices comes with a price tag of 330,000 Won and is available in a handful of different colors.

ZTE Launch the Avea inTouch 4 in Turkey

It’s not everyday you hear of a new smartphone launch in Turkey, but it seems like ZTE is looking to become a name in the Middle-Eastern market. The Avea inTouch 4 is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 and features a 5-inch 720p display, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Avea inTouch 4 is to cost 619 Turkish Lira, and for that price it doesn’t too bad at all.

Line’s COO Becomes its New CEO in Japan

LINE, the Japanese-based instant messaging client that has risen to popularity throughout Asia is undergoing a change at the top. The current CEO, Akira Morikawa, is to step down from his position when his contract is up and will remain an adviser. Meanwhile, the company’s COO, Takeshi Idezawa will take over. As of right now, the position is temporary until the change is approved next year during a shareholder’s meeting.

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4G Goes on Sale in India December 30th

Following a reprieve on their sales ban, Xiaomi is to start selling the Redmi Note 4G in India starting December 30th. For the 4G side of things, the Redmi Note 4G supports TD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD-LTE 1800MHz (Band 3), and will only cost RS 9,999, which isn’t too much more than the usual. Unlike the usual variant, this one is powered a quad-core Snapdragon 400 and other than that it’s the same 5.5-inch 720p device that you’ll find anywhere else.
