Capital One Acquires Level Money, Will let it run independently for now
This week, Capital one and Level Money announced they had made a deal for Capital One to acquire them. They also stated that they will remain independent from Capital One at least for now.
“Today, we’re taking the next step on our journey: Level Money has joined Capital One. In retrospect, this next chapter is obvious: Capital One’s story and capabilities are completely unique. Much younger and nimbler than any other top bank, Capital One is a founder-led company on a mission to transform the way banking is done. Taking a technology-based, consumer-centric focus to banking is core to what Capital One does, and on that team we found a deep passion for solving old problems in a new way. Delivering delightful experiences within financial services is hard, and we’re placing our bets on this group of people. “
