AT&T Gives Samsung’s Galaxy Alpha a Teeny Tiny Update

AT&T users with a Galaxy Alpha should have noticed a teeny, tiny 17MB update roll out to their devices this past week, and as you might imagine there’s not much to see here. The official line from AT&T is that this software update brings “User Experience Enhancements”, the software version you’re looking for is G850AUCU1ANL1.

Motorola Start Lollipop Roll Out to the Moto G (2013) and (2014) in India and Moto G (2014) for the US

It’s a strange strategy that Motorola is taking here, but they’re finally rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop to the Moto G, albeit in certain regions. Those in the US can get the update if they’re using a second-generation Moto G, with the original Moto G and the second-gen Moto G getting the update together in India. Bizarre, I know, but it looks like Motorola wants this to a smooth process for their most popular device and if that means taking it slow, then so be it. The update brings the Moto G to Android 5.0.2 with build number LBX22 and should hit your device any day now.
