Some of you may remember the Clip from last year. Basically it’s a wearable camera that snaps pictures of what’s in front of you every few seconds, so you’ll never miss a moment of what’s going on throughout the year. The Clip 2 features a 90-degree lens, with a 8MP camera. So you’ll get some pretty decent shots and grab the moments that you’ll want to cherish forever.
“The advancements we made with Clip 2 make it even simpler for Narrative users to capture their moments and share their stories,” said Martin Kallstrom, CEO of Narrative, “from important moments of their child opening her first Christmas present to enjoying your Sunday bike ride, users can ensure moments that matter are remembered without missing the experience by being stuck behind a camera lens.”
This is a pretty neat wearable, and one that I’ve really been looking forward to seeing the second generation of. It was a great product that had a few quirks, and hopefully that’s all been worked out in the next generation which is at CES right now. The Clip 2 will be on display at CES this week, so we’ll try and get some hands on time while we are in Las Vegas, and see how far it’s come in a year.
The Clip 2 will be available in Piano Black, Arctic White and Narrative Red colors (I particularly like the Narrative Red color). It’ll also be available for $199, however there is no word on when exactly it’ll be available. Narrative also has the original Clip on sale for $149 right now, if you want to check that out.
Definitely an interesting product here from Narrative. How many of you bought the original Clip? Are any of you planning on buying the new version that was announced today? Be sure to let us know in the comments down below.
