Samsung Galaxy A7 Will Launch In Malaysia In February; Check Out The Hands-On Images

Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 handsets are already available in a number of markets. They’re slowly but surely making their way to more and more countries and it seems that the Galaxy A7 will soon follow. The most powerful device in the “A” line will launch in February in Malaysia. Samsung Malaysia previewed this phone at the Galaxy A launch, but they did not confirm the device’s price. I bet this handset will be priced over $400 though, perhaps even over $450. I’m just guessing at this point, but we’ll see. The only thing we know thus far, is that it will launch in February and I believe that we’ll know the exact date soon as well.

The Galaxy A7 features a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) Super AMOLED display along with 2GB of RAM for your multitasking needs and 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card up to 64GB). This handset is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 615 quad-core processor (quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53) which ships with the Adreno 405 GPU for graphics rendering. 12-megapixel camera is located on the back of this device and is flanked by an LED flash, while a 5-megapixel snapper is available up front for your selfie and video call needs. The Galaxy A7 supports 4G LTE connectivity and comes with a 2,600mAh non-removable battery. This handset will come with Android 4.4.4 KitKat pre-installed with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top of it, of course. 150.9 x 75.9 x 6.3mm are Galaxy A7’s measurements, and the phone weighs 133 grams. It is worth mentioning that this is Samsung’s slimmest smartphone to date at 6.3mm.

Galaxy A7’s design is basically the same as the A3 and A5’s, though the device is bigger than both of those handsets.
