We are so excited to have another Yahoo director with us on the Android Headlines Show. Last night we talked to Stephane Karoubi, the Senior Director of Engineering for Yahoo’s Native Mobile Apps. Karoubi got his start as a software engineer at Microsoft, working his way to up a senior manager level working on Microsoft’s mobile and social apps. He moved to Yahoo in 2011 as a Director of Engineering for Yahoo’s native mobile apps division. He’s now a senior director handling Yahoo’s awesome apps, particularly their Weather app.
We also talked a bit about Google I/O 2015, the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, and a couple other news stories from the week. You can find all of the show notes and the podcast download link below.
