Last night, T-Mobile put up a sign up page for the Galaxy S6, which showed off the best picture yet of the Galaxy S6. While we couldn’t see much of it, we could see enough to make us excited. It looks like we’ve got a slight edge like the Galaxy Note Edge, and it looks like that physical home button is still there. For those that were wondering. Other than that, there’s not much to see here. Although the tagline “Six Appeal” isn’t all that interesting, or exciting. But we get what Samsung was going for here. We’ll likely see Sprint and Verizon release these same images, but with their colors (T-Mobile’s was magenta and AT&T’s was blue).
It appears that the Galaxy S6 will be coming in the Spring of this year, so don’t expect the Galaxy S6 to be available within a few days of its’ announcement on Sunday. Seeing as Spring officially starts on March 20th, it looks like AT&T’s release date is going to be after March 20th. Which is about 3 weeks after the announcement. Hopefully people are still excited about the Galaxy S6 by then. Last year it appeared that by the time the Galaxy S5 was actually available, everyone was excited and more interested in something newer. I think Samsung would do really well if they could have the Galaxy S6 available within a week of the announcement. I’m sure they’d sell a ton.
The Galaxy S6 is slated to be announced next Sunday, March 1st in Barcelona at their Unpacked event. Which I will be attending. So you’ll want to keep it locked to Android Headlines. The Galaxy S6 is also slated to feature a QHD display, an Exynos 7 processor, 3GB (maybe 4GB) of RAM, and a 20MP camera on the back. Definitely making this smartphone interesting for a lot of people.
