It was last Sunday when LG surprised everyone by announcing the launch at MWC of their latest round smartwatch, the LG Watch Urbane. Following on from this, LG have today announced they will be launching four new devices at this year’s event. None of these will be flagship devices, but instead are designed to offer reasonably priced mid-range options. The four devices will be known as the LG Magna, LG Spirit, LG Leon and LG Joy. All four will be available in both a 4G and 3G versions (LTE Cat. 4 / HSPA+ 21Mbps) and the specs will slightly differ in this respect.
The LG Magna is the biggest of the four new devices and comes with a 5-inch HD display (294 ppi). Inside Magna will come with 1GB RAM, will be driven by a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor on the 4G model while a 1.2GHz Quad-core processor on the 3G option. Both versions will come with 8GB internal storage. In terms of cameras, the 4G Magna will come with an 8MP shooter while the 3G option will come with a 5MP rear shooter. Both will come with a 5MP front-facing camera. Magna will be powered by a 2,540 mAh battery and come running on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). In terms of measurements, Magna will be 139.7 x 69.9 x 10.2mm
The next in terms of size will be the LG Spirit which comes with a 4.7-inch HD display (312 ppi). Similar to Magna, this one will also come with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and again be powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor (4G model) and a 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor (3G model). Again, this one will come with an 8MP shooter on the 4G option and a 5MP on the 3G option. Both versions will come with a more basic 1MP front facing option. Spirit will come with a slightly lesser battery (2,100mAh) and come running on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). In terms of measurements, this one will come in at 133.3 x 66.1 x 9.9mm
The third up is Leon, which will come with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (220 ppi). Inside, Leon will again offer 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and again be powered by the same 1.2/1.3GHz Quad-core processor combination. In terms of cameras, again there will be an 8MP rear shooter on the 4G model and a 5MP on the 3G model. Both will offer a VGA front facing option. Once more, Leon will be running on android 5.0 (Lollipop) and come with a slightly further reduced 1,900mAh battery. This one will measure 129.9 x 64.9 x 10.9mm
Last on the list is the LG Joy which will come with a 4.0-inch WVGA (233 ppi). Inside, Joy will come with 512MB RAM on the 3G option and 1GB RAM on the 4G model. In terms of storage, Joy will be equipped with 4GB storage on the 3G model and 8GB storage on the 4G model. The 4G will come loaded with a 1.2GHz Quad-core processor while the 3G version will come with a 1.2GHz Dual-core processor. In terms of cameras, Joy will come with a 5MP rear shooter along with a VGA front-facing option. Joy will come powered by a 1,900mAh battery. The 4G Joy will come running on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) while the 3G Joy will come running on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Lastly, Joy will measure 122.7 x 64.0 x 11.9mm
