Report: Galaxy S6 to have just Two Samsung Apps Pre-installed, Here's the Full List

We’ve been hearing that Samsung was going to tone down Touchwiz a bit with the Galaxy S6. Actually we heard that it was going to be rebuilt, and a lot of Samsung’s apps seem to have gotten the axe. A new report coming out of Sammobile this morning tells us that there will only be two Samsung apps pre-installed on the Galaxy S6. That’s S Voice and S Health (Guess they aren’t counting the “GALAXY APPS” which is listed in their list of pre-installed apps).

According to Sammobile, these are the apps that will be pre-installed on the Galaxy S6 “S Voice, S Health, Facebook, WhatsApp (download link), Microsoft One Drive, Microsoft One Note, Skype, All Google apps, and GALAXY APPS.” So outside of the Microsoft stuff and the S Voice, S Health and Galaxy Apps, its the same apps pre-installed as on every other smartphone out there. It’s kind of interesting to see Microsoft getting in on the action here with One Drive, One Note and Skype. But I guess they have finally realized that they need to get users on other platforms, since the Windows Phone platform isn’t doing to well.

So about that Project Zero, if all this pans out, Samsung might have a really great year this year. According to all the rumors floating around, it appears that they’ve really listened to their customers this past year, and might just be giving them what they want. An Aluminum unibody, much less bloat, a redesigned and rebuilt Touchwiz, just to name a few. Samsung will be taking the wraps off of the Galaxy S6 in just a few days in Barcelona at Unpacked. And we’ll be there to see exactly what the Korean tech giant has to show us. So make sure you keep it locked to Android Headlines for all for the details.
