As most of you already know, Samsung is going to unveil the company’s Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge handsets on March 1st as part of MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona. The company has scheduled their Unpacked event on said date a while ago, and have been teasing the unveiling of their new flagship device(s) intensively in the last couple of weeks. We’ve seen plenty of leaks as well, showing us the design, specs and features of the Galaxy S6. The launch day is still a couple of days away, and we’ll surely see more leaks come our way, like the one that arrived today.
An interesting leak popped up yesterday, leaking the alleged Galaxy S6 handset from basically every corner. You can check that article if you’d like to see the device in the flesh. Today’s leak actually shows that very same device, but it seems like the Galaxy S6 Edge is also pictured here. You can see the devices side by side in the images down below, and the Edge display on the left device doesn’t seem to be separate from the main display as far as content goes, which is odd, but it doesn’t have to mean anything at this point. It’s still very probably that the side display(s) will have a similar functionality like the one on the Galaxy Note Edge (though that depends on whether the phone will offer 2 Edge displays, or just one).
According to these images, the two devices look rather similar, though the Galaxy S6 Edge will offers a somewhat different design due to its curved screen nature, of course. Anyhow, there are a bunch of new images located in the gallery down below, the first and second image allegedly show the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge side by side, while the other ones seem to show us the Galaxy S6 alone. Take this leak with a pinch of salt, of course, though it seems rather probable that these are the two devices we’ll see launched on March 1st, considering they actually go hand-in-hand with the leaks we’ve seen thus far. Also, these are probably prototype devices, and if they are legit, Samsung will most likely add some polish on them. What are your thoughts here, do you think these two devices are in fact the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge?
