Samsung's Galaxy S 6 Edge May Actually Come With An Edge On Both Sides Of The Display

Mobile World Congress is just around the corner and with it comes Samsung’s Unpacked 2015 event which happens Sunday March 1st, and that is when we’re expecting to see Samsung unveil the next devices in their flagship lineups, the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S Edge(or Galaxy S6 Edge)to be added to their offerings for the 2015 calendar year. The Galaxy S Edge has had much speculation about it, and with all the leaks including the few from Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile yesterday, we now know that the Galaxy S Edge exists at this point, we just don’t know any specific details officially.

There has been some talk over the last month or two as well that the Galaxy S Edge would have a dual edged display, although there has been nothing confirming things officially on this point from Samsung so far. The rumors were getting harder and harder to ignore though and one Twitter user that goes by the name of Z3N points out something pretty interesting about the leaked teaser images. One picture shows what is listed as and appears to be the Galaxy S Edge laying on it’s back, showing it off from the top view as you can see the Samsung branding at the top and the home button located towards the bottom. It also shows off the edge part of the display on the left side of the phone as we’re viewing the device from the top.

He places this image next to the leaks from the three major US carriers, which show off and essentially confirm the Galaxy S Edge, but the images when thrown out by the carriers show off the device on its face instead of its back and accompanied by the words “Six Appeal”, again with the home button at the bottom and displaying the edge. Since the phone display is facing downward, this makes it the right edge that we’re looking at, which more or less confirms that the Galaxy S Edge will have an edge on both the left and right side of the display when paired with the other image we talked about above. Most people were already probably expecting this as its been talked about for weeks, and even though this isn’t really official or stated as a confirmation from Samsung, a little bit of logic would tell us that what we’ve seen here is the edges from both sides of the phone. We’ll officially learn more come Sunday, and you can see the image from Z3N’s tweet just below.
