Allow the Android Headlines Show to Take you into the Weekend! Episode 100 Now Available for your Streaming Pleasures

Last night we had a great 100th show. We spoke with Nick from Yahoo News Digest and got all kinds of cool background info on himself as well as some of his popular projects like Summly and News Digest. Summly was bought by Yahoo a few years ago.

As far as news goes, we talked about Android Auto, and how it’s finally available for everyone to use. Pioneer’s head units are now officially shipping – speaking of which we should have one soon to play around with. Additionally we talked about HTC’s new Uh Oh Protection plan, where they will allow you to go ahead and get a replacement HTC One M9 or an One M8 if you crack the screen, get water on it and it damages it, or even switch carriers. Pretty neat.

Today, Samsung actually opened up pre-orders for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge in the UK. Oh and we are also giving away a Galaxy S6 with SlickWraps. Check that out in case you haven’t entered yet.

Finally, T-Mobile shook up the industry again with Uncarrier 9.0, so we let out some thoughts on their big announcements from this week. Including their new business plans, contract freedom and the Uncontract.

We’ve got both the video and audio streams available for you down below. So have at it!
