Avast Launch 'Avast GrimeFighter' To Help Rid Your Android Devices Of Junk And Free Up Memory

Avast are a company you probably know quite well. They are after all, one of the major internet security and antivirus protection companies out there and are already credited with providing security for over 175 million home PC’s. However, Avast also offer a number of solutions to help keep your mobile browsing safe and secure. Avast were also one of the companies who were in attendance at this year’s MWC event in Barcelona this week and making a few announcements on their new products.

One of the announcements the company was making was the launch of a new app which has recently become available for android devices. The app goes by the tag ‘Avast GrimeFighter’ and is designed to help you keep your android device healthy, clean and lightweight. As such the app is designed to clear your device of all the clutter and junk which it can accumulate during its day to day running. Like other junk clearing apps, GrimeFighter does offer a solution to the problem of low storage space by analysing your device and identifying any and all disposable or unneeded forms of data. However, unlike other junk cleaners, this one does not need or request that your remove the other junk cleaners if you don’t want to. The app offers two modes consisting of Simple and Advanced which offer different levels of analysing and cleansers depending on your needs.

Another interesting feature offered by Avast GrimeFighter is that it allows for direct syncing with online storage clients like Dropbox. As a result, the app will aid you in transferring data to those online cloud services to further helping you free up space. If you are someone for who space and storage is an issue, then this might be worth checking out. Likewise, if you just find your device is increasingly running slower and slower then maybe by cleaning out the junk files held by apps will help to increase the performance of your device. The app is free to download and is available now from the Play Store.
