Best Buy Offering a Free Samsung Wireless Charger When You Pre-Order the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge

We have great news if you are in the market for a new Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge and have a Best Buy store near you.  Word is on Reddit that the Samsung ‘guy’ at Best Buy said that he was at a Samsung event the week before and was able to play with the new devices.  He also said that Best Buy will have them in-store on March 27 for customers to play with and on that day they will begin taking pre-orders for the April 10 launch day.  The really great news is that he indicated if you are pre-ordering the device for use on the Verizon, AT&T or Sprint networks, you would also receive a FREE Samsung Wireless Charger, which is a $50 value.  The conversation on Reddit went as follows:

“I was in Best Buy today and a guy at the Samsung desk told me he had been to a Samsung event the previous weekend where he spent some time with the new devices. He said both would be in the store on 3/27, that they’d be taking pre-orders for 4/10 launch on AT&T, Verizon & Sprint at that time starting 3/27.  Also, pre-orders would come with ‘a free device’.”  This elicited the response from the Samsung guy at Best Buy, “If the question is will all carriers include a wireless charger, then no.  From what I know, BestBuy is offering it only if you preorder the s6 for Sprint, ATT, and Verizon.”

We know that many of the carriers in the UK are giving free wireless chargers with their pre-orders or like EE is offering a “wireless bundle” with their Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge.  We also know that pre-orders in the UK started today at the Carphone Warehouse, Vodafone, Three, EE and O2.  Both models will also launch in the US on April 10, and it is very possible that some of the US Carriers will also offer an incentive of some sort as well.  The answer from the Samsung booth in Best Buy only answers “no” to the question, “will all carriers include a wireless charger,” and that does not preclude any one of them from offering the free wireless charger or some sort of ‘wireless bundle’ of their own…something that Verizon is noted for doing.
