It’s set up in such a way that you can’t win by making quick moves, your only option, if you want to be successful, is through calm, collected, strategic thinking.
KAMI
Simple, serene, yet difficult. That’s the essence of KAMI. You unfold pieces of papers until you can fill the screen all with one color. You need to do it in a predetermined number of moves, and levels start out easy enough, but as you progress you begin to notice the chaos and challenge that can be found within this simplistic and gorgeous puzzler.
Hitman GO
For lovers of the Hitman franchise of video games, this is one puzzle game not to miss. Each level is comprised of a well-crafted diorama style scene, and the goal is to guide Agent 47 to the designated end of the level while also trying to complete each level sub-challenges. You won’t always be able to complete all challenges on a single level in one attempt, but this gives it some great replay value.
Skyward
Skyward is an endless puzzle game. The backgrounds and levels continue generating as you go with an M.C. Escher-like art style. The higher you get the higher your score, and reaching certain points will allow you to unlock new level generating patterns to mix things up and keep things challenging. Leaderboards make things competitive and drive you to beat your own best heights.
Blockwick 2
Blockwick 2 tasks you with unscrambling a series of colorful blocks shapes, attempting to match up everything of the same color. Connecting them will be harder than it looks, but with 160 levels of puzzling, colorful, madness you’ll begin to pick things up and learn the ropes.
Monument Valley
Monument Valley is more than just a puzzle game. It’s a complete audio/visual treat for the senses that challenges your brain to solve a series of puzzles, which helps you navigate the silent princess through a dream-like world of wonder and stunning architecture. The music and sounds react to your interactions with the screen, making things more immersive and really plunging you head first into the game.
