Motorola Launch Foap 'Android Moments' Photo Challenge With Cash Prize, Moto X's And Moto 360's All Up For Grabs

With smartphones coming with bigger and more advanced camera technology in every evolution, it is not surprising that image taking is big business in the android world. In fact, camera functions are now one of the main reasons that some users edge towards one device over another. The camera functions are getting so much better, that a smartphone nowadays can double as a serious camera device. Well, for those interested in image taking they might already have heard of an app called ‘Foap’. The app launched back in 2013 and is an app which looks to pay you for your photos and images. For those who have yet to hear of the service, then it is simple. You take a photo with your device, you upload it and if someone (business or otherwise) wants to buy your photo, they pay $10. Foap gets $5 and so do you. It is that simple.

Well, the app received an overhaul today with a new updated Material Design version released. To coincide with the release of the new app, Motorola have launched a competition dubbed “For The Love Of Android’. The short of the competition is that Motorola want you to submit your best or favorite “android moments”. These could be anything from a photo you have taken using an android device to even an image of any android toys, memorabilia or the android robot himself. Basically, anything android related is accepted.

In terms of the competition, Motorola are making sure you are well compensated for your efforts and have announced that the winner of the competition will receive a $1000 cash prize. Runner-ups (second and third place) will get a Moto X smartphone each, while fourth and fifth place can look forward to a Moto 360 smartwatch heading their way. If you feel like you have the perfect android moment, then you can click the source link below to head over to the main Motorola Foap contest page. If you have yet to download the Foap app then you can download the new version now from the Play Store. Make sure to let us know how you get on and what your favorite android moments are.
