Rumor: The LG G4 Will Allegedly Come With A 5.6-Inch Display Size

Leaks and rumors are pretty common when it comes to upcoming new handsets and other mobile devices, and the last few weeks have granted a few in regards to the upcoming LG G4, which is supposed to be LG’s latest flagship smartphone, and successor to the LG G3 which came out last Spring. Lg hasn’t officially outted the LG G4 yet, but there have been a couple of different leaks that make strong and convincing suggestions as to what the LG G4 will look like thanks to the alleged press renders that surfaced not too long ago.

The photos, while painting the LG G4 as an attractive looking smartphone for the year, don’t give any hints as to how big the screen might be this time around for LG’s “to-be” latest front running device. If this latest tip from a leaker on Twitter named OnLeaks is to be believed, (the same person who tipped the press render shots) then LG’s upcoming G4 smartphone could come packing a 5.6-inch display. This would likely mesh well with LG’s decisions to continue forward with a Quad-HD display(2K screen)if they choose to implement a screen of that resolution like they did with the LG G3 from last year.

In addition to the 2K screen and now the rumored 5.6-inch display size, the LG G4 is also speculated to come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core 64-bit processor accompanied by 3GB of RAM, with at least 32GB of storage space on board and likely a microSD card slot for expandable storage. It’s also rumored that LG will employ the use of a higher quality rear-facing camera, which could fall anywhere between 16MP and 20MP, and that it will come with OIS+ and the laser auto-focus as seen on the LG G3. For now LG’s latest flagship smartphone is all but confirmed, and as of this moment there is no time frame for release nor are there any confirmations on pricing or regional availability. Judging by last year’s launch of the LG G3 though, LG could be setting up to release the LG G4 sometime around the end of May.
